The tariff wars strike back...

Because of the tariff war imposed by the orange man, I've had to adjust the prices in my Etsy shop for customers in the United States and for international orders. Canada is the only region spared for now. 🍁🥰🍁

I'm genuinely sorry about this, but when I sell an illustration and end up with only CA$0.75 in profit instead of CA$5.00, I have to do something about it.

When I look at the time and energy I pour into trying to earn a few miserable dollars from my artwork, I swear... it drives me crazy.

Fortunately, my motivation comes from somewhere else.

That's just the way it is, and I won't bend in the face of any obstacle if it means continuing to do what I love, the way I love doing it.

In fact, every time I'm confronted with a difficulty, a ban, or a setback, it only makes me want to fight even harder.

That's my choice: to live free and create on my own terms.

Je vous présente mes sincères excuses, mais lorsqu'une illustration vendue me laisse seulement 0,75 $CA de profit au lieu de 5,00 $CA, je me dois d'agir.

Quand je vois le temps et l'énergie que je consacre à essayer de gagner quelques misérables dollars grâce à mon travail artistique, je vous jure... ça me rend dingue ! 😡😭

Heureusement, ma motivation vient d'ailleurs.

C'est ainsi, et je ne plierai devant aucun obstacle s'il s'agit de continuer à faire ce que j'aime, comme j'aime le faire.

En fait, chaque fois que je suis confronté à une difficulté, un bannissement ou un contrariété, cela ne fait que renforcer mon envie de me battre encore davantage.

C'est mon choix : vivre libre et créer selon mes propres règles.
